Ledger Uploader -- setup and how to use it
==========================================

One uploader for the whole Ledger addon suite (GoblinLedger today; more
Ledger addons plug in later as modules). It watches your WoW save files and
uploads what the addons save -- plus it downloads shared data (like market
medians) back into the game.

WHAT'S IN THIS FOLDER
CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.ps1 The uploader. Double-click CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.bat to run it.
CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.bat Double-click this. (Handles Windows script blocking.)
modules\GoblinLedger.ps1 The GoblinLedger module: scan uploads + price sync.
Future Ledger addons add their own module here.
  readme_goblinledger.txt This file.

UPGRADING FROM GoblinLedgerUploader
Just run CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.bat once and answer "y" to auto-start. It removes
the old auto-start entry and keeps your existing uploader ID, so your
goblin name on the leaderboard doesn't change. You can delete the old
  GoblinLedgerUploader files afterward.

WHICH FILE DO I RUN?
  Double-click CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.bat
Do NOT run the .ps1 directly -- Windows blocks downloaded scripts, and the
.bat handles that for you. The .ps1 and modules are plain text; read them.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN
  1. A black window opens and asks:
Start the Ledger Uploader automatically with Windows? (y/n)
Say "y" once. From then on a hidden copy starts with Windows and you
never have to think about it again.
  2. The window lists every Ledger addon it found, e.g.:
       [GoblinLedger] watching:
         E:\World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\WTF\Account\...\GoblinLedger.lua

KEEP THE WINDOW OPEN (until the auto-start takes over).
The uploader only watches while it's running. Close the window and uploads
stop until you run it again -- or reboot, once auto-start is on.

THE UPLOAD LOOP (GoblinLedger)
  1. In WoW, open the Auction House, pick your playstyle, hit Scan.
  2. Type /reload in chat.
WHY: WoW only writes addon save files on reload or logout. Blizzard
gives addons no other way to save data -- this step is unavoidable.
  3. The uploader sees the new scan and uploads it automatically:
[10:07:51] [GoblinLedger] new data found (pvp, ...) -- uploading...
[GoblinLedger] Uploaded: 1060 items recorded. Thank you, goblin.

PRICE TOOLTIPS
When WoW is closed, the uploader downloads the latest market medians and
saves them for the addon, so hovering any item in-game shows the
  GoblinLedger median price.

TROUBLESHOOTING
  - "No addon save files found": the uploader checks your Battle.net install
path, the standard install folders, and every fixed drive automatically.
If it still can't see your WoW, open CLICK-ME-GOBLINLEDGER.ps1 in Notepad, find
the line starting with $wowBeta = and set it to your real WoW version
folder (the one containing WTF). Save, run the .bat again.
  - Window opens and instantly closes: you're running an old copy. Delete every
uploader file you downloaded before and use only this folder (keep the
modules subfolder next to the .ps1).
  - SmartScreen warning: click "More info" -> "Run anyway". The script isn't
code-signed (that's a paid certificate); the code is all readable above.

WHAT IT SENDS
Only what the addons save: for GoblinLedger, the scan string (item IDs, min
prices, quantities, ruleset, faction, timestamp). It downloads public market
medians in return. Nothing else on your PC is read or sent. No account.
